The
Imation Storage Networking Lab is a world-class facility that
offers hands-on interoperability and proof-of-concept testing
to make integrating SAN and storage networking solutions into
your business as risk-free and cost-effective as possible.
Located
at Imation headquarters in Oakdale, Minnesota, the Imation
Storage Networking Lab helps companies and equipment
manufacturers develop, test, and evaluate data storage
solutions in an objective environment.

Storage Networking Lab offers the following services:
- Proof-of-concept testing
- Interoperability testing
- Performance verification and
validation
- SAN and storage network training
The
Lab offers connections to more than 150 pieces of equipment
from more than 40 manufacturers to accommodate
"any-to-any" configurations. The results allow you
to identify key architecture strengths or weaknesses, and
mitigate risks prior to implementations.
You
can perform testing in the Lab, or use our remote access
capabilities to conduct testing from your own location. SAN
and storage network equipment manufacturers can use the Lab to
augment their capabilities to develop and validate products in
an open storage environment.
